Due to successfully obtaining grant funding to introduce gateway structures at the entrances to the town, Brading Town Council is now in the process of installing the new signs.
A competition was held for residents to design the signs themselves. There were a number of very good entries and the best have been amalgamated into the final designs for the signs.
Two pieces of land have already been identified as suitable locations for gateway structures to the town. The first piece of land is the grass area to the left of the roundabout at Coach Lane as you enter Brading from Ryde (see top left pic). The second piece is the grass area outside Greenwood Lane as you enter Brading from Sandown (see top right pic) .
