The Craft Market will be open every Thursday from the 29th May until the end of September from 10am until 3.30pm at St. Marys Church Hall. Visit the Market for Island gifts and crafts and have a tea or coffee. Free admission.

The Town Council is selling 'Recycle for Brading' bags at Brading Station and The Brading Centre. These bags are the eco - friendly alternative to plastic bags which can take between 500 to 1000 years to break down into the environment. With these durable, reusable 'Recycle for Brading' bags, you will never need to use a plastic bag again. All proceeds from the sale of the bags will help to sustain the future of Brading Station Visitor Centre and Railway Heritage Exhibition.

There have been a number of complaints about people having bonfires in the parish. Although there is no law to stop people having bonfires, it can cause a disturbance to neighbours. The fact sheet below therefore provides information for people wishing to have a bonfire and also for residents who are experiencing problems with bonfires.

Residents were given the opportunity to view plans for the new toilet block for the Town Trust Car Park. The comments of local people were taken into consideration and the block has now been changed from timber cladding to stone, as residents felt this was much more in keeping with the surrounding area.
