In times of adverse weather conditions, Brading Town Council have a number of sand bags to borrow to help prevent flooding. While it is not the IOW Council’s responsibility to protect individual homes and businesses and people are responsible for their own properties, in some emergency situations, IOW Council will instruct Island Roads to position stocks of sandbags at the following strategic location: Simeon Street Recreation Ground, Ryde.PO33 1JG.
